Achievement in NCSC District level Competition - 2017

National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) a programme of National Council for Science and Technology Communication (NOSTC), Department of Science and Technology targets to spread the concept of the method of science among the children their project activities adopting the principle of learning through doing’.
The students of Podar International School, Amravati
Shravani R. Dhawane, Gargee Y. Deshpande, Malwika H. Maldhure ,Rohit S. Deshmukh and Chittatosh V. Inamdar
carried out a project on a PAPER MACHE CEMENT
in relation to theme LIFESTYLE AND LIVELIHOOD decided for the year. The study is to be carried out in the school premises. It helped to imbibe the following temperament/quality/skill in the children:

  • Making measurement,
  • Making comparison and contrasts,
  • Classification,
  • Estimation,
  • Prediction,
  • Interpretation,
  • Critical thinking,
  • Creative thinking,
  • Drawing conclusion and
  • Cooperative skill

The students have qualified District level of National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) held at Samartha High School, Amravati.Now they will be aiming for Zonal level Congress at Mumbai.
