An Intra-Podar 3D Designing and Printing Competition - 'Prototyping the Future' was organized at Podar International School, #Gwalior on Saturday, 25th February 2023 with the aim of inculcating interest in subjects like Science, Computer and Technology among the students and showcasing their talents.
Students participated in the 3D printing competition and presented their ideas and brought out their hidden talents within them. The competition aimed to stimulate curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds, and skills like Design Mind set, Computational Thinking, Adaptive Learning, and Physical Computing etc. are to be developed.
The competition was held in 4 different categories namely 3D Toy Arena for Grade V, 3D Automotive Modelling for Grade VI, 3D Architectural Models for Grade VII, and 3D Modern Farm for Grade VIII in which students participated rigorously. The categories in this competition were judged by the following panel of esteemed judges: Mr. Jagdish Makhijani Assistant Professor RJ IT, BSF Academy Tekanpur, Mr. Gaurav Bhardwaj Assistant Professor RJIT, BSF Academy Tekanpur, Mr. Mohan Dixit PGT Computer Science, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 5. The jury praised and said that we all were thrilled to see the interest and creativity of these small children that if they have such talent in their childhood, they will make the country famous when they grow up.
The models designed and exhibited by the participating students of Grade V to VIII under the guidance of Computer Teacher Mr. Krishna Kant Goyal. A lot of effort and creativity were put into the competition by the teams. A grand sports day concluded at Podar International School, Gwalior. In the main event, Smt Shobha Satish Sikarwar, Gwalior Mayor Chief Guest and Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Branch Mr. Rajesh Dandotia, students of Podar International School displayed warm enthusiasm.
Apart from various track and field competitions, drill, march past, medals were awarded for PT, PT and Team games.
Mr. Rajesh Dandotia ji filled everyone with new energy with his speech. Just as a ghost is an illusion of the mind, in the same way no one is average mediocre etc. Quoting himself, he said that one never knows when a child will excel. School Principal Shri Manish RK Jain expressed his gratitude to everyone in his address and specially praised the participants of Parents Race, Teachers Race and Drivers, Office Staff House Keeping Staff Race. Expressing hope that the school will get 11th 12th CBSE affiliation in the next session, he threw light on various schemes like setting up of innovative lab etc.
The overall winner this year was Ignus House.

To revere this day, the students and teachers of Podar International School organised a special celebration to commemorate the Mahatma’s life and teachings. Our students and Our teachers also encouraged the students to contribute their part of life for good social cause and by being a responsible citizen of the country.
The event was started with lightening the lamp.The Student led choir sung song with full exuberance. A special speech with Gandhian quotes and messages brought the listeners and spectators to understand more about this iconic leader. Gandhian ideologies were depicted through a skit which the students presented by grade VIII students.
To honor the teachers and encourage the students at Podar International School, Gwalior, the Academy, Tekanpur organized a special event. Hold on Shri Niwas Dhar said that a teacher is the only person who prepares the coming generation for the development and progress of the country by giving them proper education. The Inspector General is a 1986 batch officer who started proving his mettle from his infancy, all the children in the school were shown a documentary film on BSF. They were also informed about the work done by the BSF. Seeing the enthusiasm of the children, they were also told that they can also protect the country if they want. Answered the questions with great love. Hon'ble Principal Mr. Manish RK Jain was honored with a memento and presented special gifts to the teachers and children. At the end of the program, school principal Manish R. Of. Jain, while expressing his thanks, also presented a memento to the Inspector General praising his contribution and said that if we are sleeping peacefully in our homes, then it is possible only because of the soldiers of the country.

Podar International School, Gwalior celebrated TEACHER'S DAY with enthusiasm and gaiety on 5 September 2022.The program was led off with lamp lighting by the revered Principal Sir Mr. Manish R K. Jain and Head mistress Ms. Himani. After invocation, students performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. The cultural show incorporated poems, songs, dance and drama. All the teachers were given titles by the students which indicated that teachers play a vital role in making their pupils accountable citizens of tomorrow and wonderful human beings. The teachers were also given gifts by the management as a token of love and appreciation for them.
Podar International School hosted a two day Sahodaya Senior and Junior Football Tournament. Various schools of Gwalior actively participated in it.

Army Public School, Gwalior Glory, St. Paul Murar and Podar International School participated in the Senior Group where Army Public School won the cup in the senior group and St Paul's School was the runner up team. next day Army Public School, Gwalior Glory, St. Paul Murar and Podar International School participated in the Junior Group, where the Chief Guest was Mr. Gajendra Ingle and Ashish Chauhan were senior social workers. Junior Army School also won in the group and ITM team was runner up in the program by the end Principal Mr. Manish R K. Jain encouraged the losing team and wished the winning team all the best.

76th Independence day was celebrated in Podar International School #Gwalior. The program started at 8.30 am.The Principal Mr. Manish RK Jain unfurled the national flag and all sang the national anthem with great pride and patriotism. After the national anthem the program started with prayer for the country. The Principal and Chief Guest Mr. Udayban Singh Rajak lighten the lamp and offer flowers to Maa Bharati. In the sequence of programs Grade 1st and 2nd students present fancy dress activities based on themes of great Indian personalities.
The students presented dance performances on patriotic songs. The Chief Guest enlightened the gathering by his words of wisdom and motivation. The Principal Sir addresses the gathering by giving moral values to students on how to become a good citizen.

Harshvardhan Rajawat presented mesmerizing poems which made the audience spellbound.

The students and staff of Podar International School #Gwalior celebrated Azadi ka Mahotsav week on account of 75th Independence Day.
Grade X students performed a theme based assembly which notified the Indian freedom struggle.
The students started off the week with the beginning of the colonial rule in India and gradually emphasized on the events of freedom struggle in chronological order starting the revolt of 1857 to Indian day of Independence 15th August 1947.
Students filled with valour and patriotism offered tribute and paid homage to the Indian freedom fighters. During the week students of Grade X expressed their patriotism by reciting poems and PPT presentations.
Principal Mr. Manish R K Jain appreciated the students and the class teacher for the wonderful assembly for the entire week and motivated the students to be true patriots and loyal for the nation.
Being one of the most diverse nations in the world, India is a place where numerous traditions, customs, religions and languages flourish. And among all the languages, Hindi is considered the chief as well as the widely spoken in India.
Hindi got an exalted status in India on September 14, 1949, when it was adopted as the official language of the country. Since then September 14 is celebrated as Hindi Diwas to pay tribute to the official language of India. The celebration of ‘Hindi Diwas’ stands as a patriotic reminder to Indian population of their common roots and unity. On this occasion, PODAR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, #GWALIOR virtually organized a speech activity, poem recitation, slogan writing and riddles to mark the importance of our national language.The Whole activity was conducted by Hindi Subject Teachers Ms. Archana Pathak and Ms. Rashmi Mastagar. Video is prepared by Computer Teacher Mr. Krishna Kant Goyal. At the last,activity was appreciated by Senior Coordinator Ms. Priyanka Nathwale with an inspirational speech. In the concluding lines of her speech, she urged the students of Podar International School, Gwalior to come forward and join hands in promoting Hindi language and stay connected for the progress of this language.
Dr Radhakrishnan stated , "Instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be my proud privilege if September 5 is observed as Teachers' Day." The day has been observed as Teachers' Day in India since 1962.
Podar International School, #Gwalior celebrated Teacher's Day on 4th September, 21. As to go on with the current pandemic situation, the Teachers Day celebration was accomplished virtually through Zoom.
The programme started by welcoming all the teachers’ day. After that ‘Bolly quiz’ was arranged for the teachers, which was consisted three rounds. This game was enjoyed a lot by every teacher and all teachers participated in the same. Students were cheering them for presenting songs and had a great deal of pleasure.
Lastly, our school Principal sir Mr. Manish R.K Jain addressed the audience and appreciated for everyone’s participation and efforts. The program culminated with vote of thanks presented by Ms. Khushi Parashar standard X.
Rakhi also called as Raksha Bandhan symbolises the true love and bond between brothers and sisters.
During all previous years, Rakhi making competition and playing of short plays signifying its importance were organized in school campus during morning assemblies. This year 2021, Covid-19 has changed the celebration pattern. However, teachers of Podar International School #Gwalior co-ordinated with students through online mode like Zoom Meet and Whatsapp Videos and inspired the students to participate in virtual Rakhi Making Activity.
The students enthusiastically participated this activity. Students showcased their talent by sending the virtual pictures of their beautiful and creative hand-made Rakhi using craft material and waste material. The school authorities appreciated every active participant and motivated other children to take part in future action.
