10. The tag line of Podar is “Our quality is the same, wherever we go”. How will you ensure this.
Podar has a Curriculum and Research Development Centre (CRDC) that makes sure the curriculum followed in all the Podar International schools is the same and is of the highest standard. The CRDC team members are experience teachers and they travel from school to school observing teachers and lessons and giving the necessary help and assistance to the schools.
Therefore, in each Podar International School across India, the identical curriculum is followed and the teachers all receive the same training and support.
Worksheets, exam papers, lesson plans are all prepared centrally by the CRDC team and given to the schools. You can be assured that all students will get a quality education at Podar International School.
The same exam, the same text books, the same teaching methods are followed in ALL Podar International schools across India, no matter the location. Therefore, technically, a Podar student, irrespective of his/her location, should learn the same thing in the same exact way.
11. How will a child who is currently in a vernacular medium state school and has never been to an English medium school cope with the culture shift and syllabus requirement?
The school will do all it can to make sure that the child gets the best out of his experience in Podar International School. We realize the transition to an English-medium school will not be very easy, therefore, we provide many extra facilities such as extra classes, mentor services to ease in the transition.
Students coming from a vernacular medium school or semi English school are eligible for admission from Nursery to Std 4 only. No student from a vernacular medium school will be taken directly from Std 5 onwards.
Please note that for schools that are yet to be affiliated, affiliation to CBSE/ICSE will be done in due course as per the Board Guidelines.
