Our day began with a warm welcome and a special felicitation of our dedicated yoga trainer Ms. Meera Asbe Ma'am. Under the theme "Ink and Imagination," our school conducted the Comic Trivia Quiz Show, bringing together students from all four houses. Each house was represented by four enthusiastic participants, showcasing their vast knowledge and love for comics. The quiz was judged by HM Meenakshi Rathod Ma'am and our respected Principal, Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir, who also addressed the students with inspiring words.

Embarking on an unforgettable literary journey, the Literature Fiesta Culmination Event commemorates the birth anniversary of William Shakespeare in a grand celebration of words and artistry. From the dignified escorting of esteemed guests to the reverential garlanding of Shakespeare's portrait, every moment resonated with homage and admiration. The vibrant welcome dance by Grade I & II set the stage for a showcase of the finest performances in poem reading and storytelling, culminating in a captivating skit that transported the audience into the realms of literature.
Amidst the festivities, the Literature Club was inaugurated, marking the beginning of a new chapter in literary exploration. Prof. Mr. Mukund Rajpankhe Sir, our esteemed chief guest, graced the occasion with profound insights, followed by inspiring speech by our Hon'ble Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. As the event drew to a close, a heartfelt vote of thanks echoed through the halls, leaving an indelible mark on all who attended.
Embarking on a journey of effective teaching, Podar International School, #Ambajogai, hosted the CBSE Teacher's Training under the guidance of Respected Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir on Classroom Management. Day 1 of the training session marked with traditional rituals, engaging activities for empowered educators with innovative strategies to foster optimal learning environments. Session was led by the skilled resource person, Ms. Archana Shukla, Principal, Royal Cliff World School, Parbhani and Ms. Agnes Mascarenhas, Principal, Balaji English School, Shirur, Pune. Teachers delved into practical techniques for students engagement and discipline. The collaborative atmosphere underscored a commitment to continuous professional development, echoing the school's dedication to excellence in education.
Mock exercises on various types of natural and anthropogenic hazards helps in inculcating a culture of preparedness and generate awareness. Mock exercises will also give the opportunity to coordinate the activities of various agencies for their optimum utilization and to use the feedback to identify the gaps and improve the capacities of the system to face an actual disaster situation.
Mock Fire Drill was conducted Podar International School #Ambajogai. Mr. Ravikant Chate and his team from Shree Sai Fire Services Pvt. Ltd. demonstrated students how to extinguish fire using fire extinguisher. He also briefed the students about types of fires and different types of fire extinguishers. For this demonstration Grade I to IX students, teachers, Admin team, HK staff, Transport Staff were present on the ground. Podar Prep. students were also present for the Mock Drill. On February 28, CV Raman discovered the Raman Effect. He also received the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930 due to his significant contribution in the field of Physics. Commemorating the discovery, National Science Day is observed on February 28 every year. The theme for National Science Day 2024 is "Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat," emphasizing the importance of homegrown innovations in India's scientific progress. This theme seeks to raise awareness about indigenous technologies that can contribute to the country's development and well-being. Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated National Science Day with great zeal. Quiz activity was conducted for the students in which they have participated actively. Marathi Language Day is celebrated on February 27 every year across the Indian states of Maharashtra and Goa. It is celebrated on the birthday of eminent Marathi poet, V.V. Shirwadkar, popularly known as Kusumagraj. He was an eminent Marathi poet, playwright, novelist, short story writer. Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated the Marathi Rajbhasha Diwas with great zeal and enthusiasm. Day started with garlanding the portrait of Kusumagraj. Students have presented various forms of Marathi literature such as poem, story telling, one activity play etc. Respected Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir said that Languages survive only when they are spoken, celebrated and literary value is conveyed. Podar International School, #Ambajogai organized The House Competition called 'Call For Action'- A Project for the Community under the theme Significant People on 20th Feb. 2024. The house competition is one step to encourage students to become ambassadors in their local communities and work actively to educate the local community through the Parivartan Drive.

Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's Jayanti is an important occasion for the people of Maharashtra and others who admire him as a warrior, king, great administrator, revolutionary visionaire and a legendary figure in Indian history. It is celebrated on 19th February every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj, who was born in 1630 in Maharashtra.
On 19th February 2024, the auspicious occasion of Shiv Jayanti was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by Podar International School, #Ambajogai. The morning assembly started with the State Song "Jay Jay Maharashtra maza, Garja Maharashtra maza".Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir along with all the teachers garlanded the portrait of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj followed by garad. 3D modeling is a versatile tool, enabling professionals in various fields to visualize, design, and analyze objects or spaces in a virtual realm before they are brought to life in the physical world. 3D modelling is both challenging and engaging. On 17/02/2024 Podar International School, Ambejogai organized The 3D Model Making Competition for the students under the guidance of respected principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. The Farewell is the roller-coaster ride of emotions and Podar International School, Ambejogai has experienced the same on 10th Feb.2024.The Farewell Ceremony of Grade-X students was marked by gratitude and nostalgia as students and teachers came together to bid adieu to the Grade-X students. Various fun games were organized for them and they have enjoyed a lot. Teachers wished them luck for their Board Examinations and future endeavors. To etch the memories of these beautiful days, the event concluded with a group photograph, return gifts as a token of love. At last Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir promised that there are no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always be in our heart and always you will be a *PODARITE*. Thoughts of Swami Vivekananda are source of inspiration for youth of India & gives inspiration to follow the right path and achieve success. Also Rajmata Jijau Jayanti is celebrated on 12th January every year. Speaking on this occasion Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir appealed to students to follow Swami Vivekananda thoughts, ideals and work for national development along with self development. Podar International School #Ambajogai celebrated the birth anniversary of Savitribai Phule on 03/01/2024 in the morning assembly. Every year on January 3rd, India celebrates a special day called Savitribai Phule Jayanti. It's not just any birthday, it's a day to remember and honour a remarkable woman who fought for girls' education and sparked a revolution in India. While addressing the assembly Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh said that Savitribai Phule challenged the conventional gender roles prevalent in the 19th century when the British colonized India, a time when women's issues were seldom addressed. She, along with her husband Jyotirao Phule, established India's first school for women in Pune in 1848. Savitribai was the first-ever female teacher in India and went on to establish 17 more schools. Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated Christmas on 22nd De/cember,2023 with the same fervour, spreading the message of love and joy among the students under the guidance of Hon principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. The entry of Santa Claus to the tune of Christmas carols took the students by surprise. It was a joyous experience for students which added a little more glitter to the celebration. As a strong step towards making our children safe, Podar International School, #Ambajogai conducted a workshop in the school campus on the topic of, ‘Good Touch Bad Touch' for the students of Grade I-X under the guidance of Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. On 16th December,2023 workshop was conducted by the school coordinators Dr. Renu Zirmire, Ms.Jagruti Chavan, Ms.Jyoti Swami, Mr.Sagar Kendre and Mr.Ravikiran Shinde with the objective of spreading awareness and educating children about good and bad touch, at a time when child abuse and molestation exist as dark realities in society today. The interactive workshop also dwelled on the urgent need to empower young children to report any abuse, apprehension or fear that they may have to selected adults in the school that include teacher, coordinator, Principal and other adults the students may feel safe with. The school-wide theme 'MYTH BUSTERS' culminated in Myths & Legends-'Believe IT Or Not' at Podar International School, #Ambajogai on 16th Dec.2023. The event was about uncovering Myths, Fairy Tales and Legends engraved in time. Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir said that the theme is about educating students on the concept of myths & legends, understanding the relevance of myths & legends in exploring the history, traditions ,beliefs & customs of various communities and countries across the world. Counseling for teens helps adolescents learn healthy coping skills and set realistic goals. Mental health counseling provides a safe space for teens to explore distressing thoughts and emotions, work through childhood trauma, and build stronger connections with family members.
Girls Counseling Session was conducted at Podar International School #Ambajogai regarding personal hygiene and mental health. School nurse Ms. Shital Salve briefed about taking care of personal hygiene and Sr. Coordinator Dr. Renu Zirmire and Primary Coordinator Ms. Jyoti Swami guided them with coping skills for mental stress.
On 2nd December, 2023, Podar International School, Ambejogai celebrated its 4th Annual Sports Meet called Zenith-4. The event took place in the spacious playground of the school. The District Sports Officer of Beed Mrs. Suhasini Ma'am was the chief guest of the event. A large temporary sitting arena was constructed for the parents and students to sit and enjoy the day. The Sports Meet started with an inaugural address by Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir. The Sports Day started with the Torch Run and March Past of the four different houses. After the march past, the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like running, frog jump, sack race, lemon spoon, kho-kho, Kabaddi etc. Points were given to the four houses depending on the performance of their representatives in the event. At last, Aqua House was declared as the champion house of the year. Here are few glimpses of the event.

Every time we smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing. If we are not maintaining oral hygiene, bacteria can reach to the levels that might lead to oral infections, such as tooth decay and gum diseases. Podar International School, #Ambajogai took an initiative of spreading dental care awareness by organizing two days Dental Checkup Camp with the help of Dr.Kalyan Lad Sir, a dentist on 28th and 29th November,2023.
It aimed at the health of the mouth and look for any sign of cavities, gum disease, infection or any other dental health problem. Hon. Principal Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir said to students 'Be true to your teeth and they won't be false to you. 'Her are few photographs of 2 Days Dental Checkup Camp.
Dance is the hidden language of the soul of the body. Garba is to express, not to impress.” The festival of Navratri comes with a promise of nine days filled with fun, frolic and dance all around symbolizing victory of positivity over negativity. It is one of the most anticipated festival in the youth.
Podar International School, #Ambajogai celebrated the “Dandiya Night” on Saturday evening, 21st October 2023 in the school premises with great enthusiasm. The school campus was adorned with amazing decoration and had a divine presence. Traditional dress code “Ghaghra choli” was followed by all the girl students and female parents as the program was arranged for Female Parents Only. All the female parents, students and teachers danced to the tunes of folk garba beats very devotedly, with their hearts out, creating a vibrant and exuberant show.
This event brought awareness among the students about the traditional customs while enjoying the Dandiya night. The whole celebration was full of enthusiasm, fun and franticness. The entire campus was a huge family tapping their feet to match up the festival spirit. The celebration ended up with the prize distribution. Parents and students were awarded for their awesome performances. They were also entitled for their talent and looks. Hon. Principal Mr. Kirtikumar Deshmukh Sir enthusiastically advocated the extreme need to love and respect children from such strata of society, which indeed are a unique creation of God. The school creates awareness among the students about the rich diversity of Indian festivals celebrated across the country, and their significance.
