Education enables students to go beyond their mirror reflection, enter into the world and mould into a perfect perona beyond self -reflection. It has indeed been a long and enriching journey of more than 9 decades for Podar Education Network. A gratifying odyssey that began in 1927, with the vision of providing holistic and globally relevant education to the young citizens of India. Today, Podar Education Network has become a cornerstone in helping generations of students to dream, visualize and plan for their future.
“Life begins with one step outside of your comfort zone,” accepting Henry Ford’s words as true, the Podar International School, Daund aspires to create a symphony in the hearts of its young pupils, such that it exudes pure music and propels them to the exalted position; that is the beginning of a wonderful dream. When you enter our beautiful campus, the first thing that strikes you is the piety and cognitively rich atmosphere which is all pervading in our corridors.
Believing “If everyone is moving together, then success takes care of itself.” The entire staff of PIS, Daund moves with a mission of providing its children with all possible facilities that help them to become good and successful human beings. We aim to create a safe, nurturing yet challenging environment that is built on positive relationships; developing the whole student – emotionally, socially and academically. We care and appreciate each student as the unique individual, each with distinct talents, interests, needs, and differ in learning style.
Our passionate teachers ensure, our students growth in confidence and capabilities developing their skills for the rapidly changing 21st century living. Engaging learning programs catering to the individual differences and learning styles are devised and delivered by our skilled, talented and dedicated teachers. We use innovative techniques, rich resources, proven instructional strategies to promote student learning. We want each of our student to be equipped with the values of respect, cooperation, persistence and striving for excellence underpinning all that they do, before they leave school. Our students become strong in self-esteem, personal expectation, develop a healthy and respectful tolerance for others.
I am privileged to grab this opportunity to be the Principal of Podar International School, Daund and I feel honoured to work with qualified and dedicated staff, enthusiastic students and all supportive parents.
While academic excellence is our major thrust, the school is also devoted to prepare the students for life, groom them to face the challenges of tomorrow, and encourage them to be socially relevant. We constantly endeavour to always live up to this ideology and inculcate this into everything we do, with the aim that we will be able to ensure that the children grow to their full potential.
