Sports aren't just a hobby; they're a way of life - and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Today's generation has lots of energy, and we need to channelize it in the right direction to get outstanding results. To channelize the students' energy towards the right direction, the school arranged the annual sports day event, 'UMANG 9.0'.
The event began with the welcoming of our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Pawar sir and Mrs. Rupali Tai Patil, who graced the occasion with their presence.
Principal Mr. S. K. Bhardwaj sir welcomed the Chief Guest by presenting a bouquet and extended a warm welcome along with Vice Principal Mr. Mukundraj Humbe Sir, Admin Officer Mr. Nitin Naner Sir, HM Mrs. Dipali Sharma Ma'am, Senior Coordinator Mr. Amol Shesh, Mrs. Anagha Patil, Ms. Hajara Wasesa, and all the school teachers.
The Sports Day commenced with a colorful parade led by the student council, followed by participants from different houses. Each house marched in sync, proudly holding their flags. The Chief Guest then took the salute and declared the Sports Day open.
The event featured various performances including:
- Inaugural and welcome dance by Grade 4th boys and girls
- Drill performances like the Flag Drill, Pom Pom Drill, Lazim Drill, and Magical Stick Drill
- Several races including Running, Relay, Sack races, Parents' races, and various sports games
The event concluded with a dance performance by the Grade 5th girls, followed by a beautiful rendition of the Sports Day song by the school choir, inspiring everyone with its theme of teamwork and perseverance.
This was followed by a series of lively dance performances by students from different classes. Their well-choreographed routines added a festive spirit to the occasion.
All students displayed their sports and dance skills. The students participated enthusiastically in every activity with zeal and sporting manners. The sports day created a great spirit and energy among the students, who were thrilled to take part in the different races.
Principal Mr. S. K. Bhardwaj sir addressed the sports meet with motivational words, encouraging students to engage in physical activities. He emphasized that "students should play on the ground for at least one hour every day."
The day concluded with the distribution of certificates and medals by the Principal Sir and Chief Guest to the winners. Children must take inspiration from great players and strive to be physically strong, as it will help them focus better on their studies.

The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school cabinet. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers.
The school Head Boy, Head Girl, along with the Sports Captain, Discipline Head, Cultural Head, Student Editor, House Captains, and Prefect were conferred with badges, sashes, and flags.
An effective speech was delivered by Honorable Principal Mr. Mukund Ingale Sir. He guided students to build healthy relationships, which help them in further development and success. He also advised students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline, and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow.

It gives us immense pleasure to announce that we, here at Podar International School, Hingoli, have successfully completed the art module "Colour and Clothing." This activity provided an in-depth understanding of how colour families and theories relate to fashion. Students explored concepts such as monochromatic, achromatic, complementary, and analogous colours. Today on the occasion of 'The International Environment Day' Principal Mr. S. K. Bhardwaj sir has addressed to keep our surrounding green by planting saplings. Chief Guest Ms. Riya Kapoor Principal Mount Zee litra School guided the teachers about the importance of green environment.
