First Portfolio meet was conducted successfully at Podar Prep Kankavli. Portfolio meet provides a platform for parents to discuss one on one with the teacher about their child's progress. It also gives opportunities to parents to participate in their child's learning process by understanding the areas which they need to support their child .

We celebrated International Yoga Day on June 21st, 2024. On this day we embrace the spirit of yoga through yoga activities in the school and cultivate a sense of well-being and connection in our children.

We celebrated International Tiger Day as, ‘Don't Let the Roar Fade: Save Tigers’ with fun filled activities on 29th July 2024. Our learners at Podar Prep learnt about tigers through art, stories, songs, and games.

Our recent "International Mud Day - “Splish, Splash, Let’s Make a Muddy Mash” " was a success! Our children along with their parents enjoyed bonding with nature through the joy of mud. They actively participated in all the fun-filled activities, creating memories that will surely last.

The first Kiducation Huddle conducted at Podar Prep with parents serves as a crucial opportunity to establish a collaborative partnership between the school and parents. It aims to provide parents with insights into the school's educational approach, curriculum, and goals, as well as to foster open communication and engagement in their child's learning journey.

This year's annual concert was more than just a celebration. Our theme this year was Jumbo’s Panchkosha. It denotes holistic education. Podar Prep Kankavli organized a Dental checkup camp for all its students. The aim of the camp was to check, regulate and maintain the dental wellness of the students and spread awareness regarding dental health and hygiene. Dentist visits are important in Early Childhood because the sooner children begin getting regular dental checkups, the healthier their mouths will stay throughout their lives. Early checkups help prevent cavities and tooth decay, which can lead to pain, trouble concentrating and other medical issues. Youngsters with healthy teeth chew food easily, learn to speak clearly and smile with confidence. Following the motto “Prevention is better than cure, " the Staff, teachers and Dentist Dr.Amey Marathe told the students to follow a schedule that keeps them fit orally and what sort of food provides better health. We are grateful to Dentist Dr. Amey Mara for his service.

Podar Prep #Kankavli organized an Eye Checkup Camp for the students under the guidance of the Respected Principal Mrs. Swati Kanase Ma'am. An eye checkup camp was crucial because a child's eye health is important for several reasons and good vision is essential for learning. Early detection and treatment of eye problems can prevent complications related to vision. Podar Prep took an initiative to ensure that the young podarites have healthy eyesight which helps them explore the world. We would like to thank you Dr.Prasad Gurav for his valuable time and guiding students how to take care of eyes.

Podar Prep In Podar International School #Kankavli conducted the Fire Safety Mock Drill and Evacuation-In continuation with the exercise to create awareness among the students about disaster management, a mock fire and evacuation drill involving students and teachers was conducted for all classes on 14th September 2023 to create awareness among the students about fire-fighting techniques and the ways to respond swiftly in times of such emergency situation. The mock drill was carried out in the school to prepare students and teachers for any such eventuality under the fire risk reduction programme. The purpose to organize the mock drill was to check the readiness of the school to face any such fire emergency. Here are a few gilimpses

1st Portfolio meet for A.Y. 2023-24 with the parents at Podar Prep Kankavli The Portfolio meet is designed to give parents one-on-one time with the teachers and the perfect time to discuss concerns and progress to help the child do their best work during the school year. Parents were shown the EYFS Portfolio file of each child.. Parents appreciated the concept of recording developmental stages of each child along with the teacher's observation.
